Q. How powerful a system will I need?
A. Windows 98, XP, NT, or 2000 system with a CD-ROM drive. The software needs less than 10MB of hard-disk space, and will not require a fast processor. A printer is required only to print recommended placarding.

Q. Where do I get the chemical information I need?
A. The shipper is required to provide all the information you will need to enter on the hazardous material shipping manifest you are provided before loading. Just enter the UN or NA information and weights right off the bill of lading.

Q. Will HazMat Manager print placards and labels for me?
A. No - HazMat Manager only tells you which placards are required.

Q. How often is the program updated?
A. The program is updated quarterly.

Q. How do I get the updates?
A. You can download the updates at the HazmatLoader website. http://hazmat.regscan.com/update.htm

Q. Why do I have to register?
A. The registration process allows us to register you for updates. In this manner we help to keep your information current and accurate.

Q. Why do I have to purchase the program every year?
A. HazMat Manager is sold on a subscription basis because the regulations do change and we need to keep the program updated with those changes.
